Infant Formula Information

WIC offers the following formulas to WIC participants without a prescription:

  • Similac Advance
  • Similac Sensitive
  • Similac Total Comfort
  • Enfamil Prosobee

Medical Formulas and Nutritionals

Your patient may have a medical condition and need medical formulas or nutritionals that are not part of a WIC formula contract.​

Refer patients who have Medi-Cal to Medi-Cal for medically necessary formula or medical food before requesting it from WIC.

WIC provides medical formulas and nutritionals when they are not covered by Medi-Cal.

WIC is committed to keeping you and your family safe and healthy. We are still providing remote services where possible. Many appointments are over the phone or over a video call.

If you have scheduled an in-person appointment, here are a few things to note before you come in: 

  • Contact your WIC counselor to complete your appointment remotely or reschedule.
  • Contact a healthcare professional about your symptoms.
